Triton Consulting is the leading provider of IBM Information Management consultancy in the UK.

Our team of consultants are some of the mostly highly experienced and qualified in the industry, and are able to advise on the full range of IBM Information Management solutions including DB2 for z/OS, DB2 for LUW, IBM Information Server, IBM Optim and DB2 Connect.

The company was set up in 1996 and has gone from strength to strength, becoming a Premier Business Partner of IBM in 1998 and more recently a Value Added Reseller for Business Objects in 2007.

Triton is owned and run by 2 directors: both have a wealth of experience in the DB2 arena and one became an IBM Gold Consultant in 1998. There are just 100 members in this elite group of consultants worldwide.

In 2001 Triton expanded their offering of consultancy into managed services. The managed services division has grown rapidly to provide Remote DBA services to customers across the country including Holiday Extras and Gamesys. Our managed services team is based in our Welwyn Garden City office and has a dedicated team of skilled consultants who provide support on all DB2 and Informix systems.

Demand grew from our customers who asked for more resources to help them grow their systems and support their staff and as a result the DB2 education arm was set up.

In addition to the work we do with DB2, Triton expanded the scope of its technical services to include other IBM Data Management solutions, including Information Integration and Data Warehousing. In late 2004, Triton's technical scope expanded to cover IBM Servers and Storage, allowing us to provide complete end-to-end solutions for our clients that include hardware, software and services.

The latest addition to our portfolio is the IBM Optim tool set.  This range of products provides a full enterprise data management solution to large clients looking to manage data across multiple platforms.  Triton work with customers to help them manage the gowing challenges of data availability, data growth management and data privacy.
