Triton Consulting Promotes Mark Gillis to Principal Consultant
August 4th, 2017

Triton Consulting is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Gillis to Principal Consultant. Mark is one of Triton's long standing DB2 for LUW specialists; he joined the team in February 2012 and very quickly settled in hitting the ground running with great work with various Remote DBA, COD, and Consultancy clients. Mark has continued to develop both his technical and his account management skills, working closely with Triton's midrange clients, which has resulted in repeat business for Triton thanks to Mark's sterling work and account management.

"The whole company would like to congratulate Mark on his success; he is key member of Triton Consulting and the Midrange team. I am thrilled to promote him to this important senior position within the company." Iqbal Goralwalla, Head of DB2 Midrange and Managed Services.

"I am delighted to be promoted to Principal Consultant at Triton Consulting. I feel this is not just a recognition of the work that I have put into DB2 consultancy but a reflection of the expertise and encouragement I have received from my peers and colleagues. I hope to continue to progress in this role and to continue to develop my knowledge and know-how with further involvement in the DB2 community." Mark Gillis, Principal Consultant

During his career Mark has adopted roles outside of the conventional DBA spectrum; such as designing reporting suites for Public Sector users using ETL and BI tools to integrate DB2 and other RDMS data. Mark was named as an IBM Analytics Champion again this year, the second year in a row. He also has a DB2 Geek profile and writes a series of popular blogs that are well received in the DB2 Community.
