Robert Philo brings over 40 years of experience in the IT industry, with more than 25 of those dedicated to Change Data Capture (CDC). Throughout his career, he’s worked with clients of all sizes, with a particular focus on financial institutions, helping them implement robust, high-availability CDC solutions.
He began his career as a programmer before moving into system administration, where he managed IBM AS/400 systems for a FTSE 100 company throughout the 1990s. His journey with CDC began at DataMirror, where he developed deep technical expertise before continuing that work with IBM after they acquired the company.
At Triton, Robert is a senior consultant who supports clients across the entire CDC journey, from initial planning and installation to fine-tuning performance and automating processes. His strong background in disaster recovery and high availability makes him a go-to resource for organisations where data resilience is a top priority.
