Triton Consulting’s DB2 Experts are again chosen as speakers for IDUG EMEA

We are delighted to announce that three of our DB2 experts will be presenting at Europe’s largest DB2 event later this year. IDUG Europe will be held over 6 days from 9th-14th November in Prague.

The International DB2 User Group (IDUG) is an independent organisation providing educational events, technical resources and peer driven product training to its members. IDUG is all about community, with unique access to fellow users, product developers and solution providers, IDUG offers an expansive, dynamic technical support community for DB2 users across the world.

“We are delighted that once again our DB2 experts have been chosen as speakers at IDUG EMEA. This is a great event which allows the DB2 community to come together to learn, share and have a great time! We hope to see many of our friends and colleagues at the Triton drinks reception which will be held on Monday night.” Carol Davis-Mann, Marketing Manager, Triton Consulting.

The event will run a DB2 z/OS and DB2 LUW track. With experts on both sides of the fence, Triton will have speakers covering topics for each track on the following subjects:

z/OS Track
Tuning zIIPs for Fun and Profit – Julian Stuhler

How to Enable High Availability for distributed DB2 z/OS workloads – Paul Stoker

LUW Track
Access Paths for DB2 v10.5 Column-based tables – What is the optimizer not telling us? – Mark Gillis

As well as attending the technical sessions which run from Monday to Thursday, attendees also have the option of registering for complimentary workshops and certification preparation courses on Sunday 9th November. In addition there will be a range of one day educational seminars available to book on Friday 14th November.
