Triton Consulting are pleased to announce that Triton Director and IBM Gold Consultant, Julian Stuhler has been invited to present at DB2 Symposium 2020. DB2 Symposium is a must attend training event for DB2 professionals around the world.
The 22nd DB2 Symposium event will take place over four days starting on 11th May to 14th May at the Van der Valk Hotel, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. You can attend for 1, 2, 3 or 4 days. The event will consist of DB2 z/OS, DB2 LUW and two generic full-day sessions.
Julian will be presenting Session 1 DevOps for DB2 for z/OS DBAs on Monday 11th May.
Synopsis
This 1-day course provides an in-depth look at the major considerations and benefits for integrating DB2 for z/OS into a modern enterprise DevOps environment. It includes a DevOps primer and tools overview, as well as a detailed look at ways of automating schema change deployment and test data management. Finally, we’ll examine the benefits and practical usage guidelines of IBM’s zD&T technology for rapidly provisioning dedicated virtual test environments.
Attendees are expected to have a good working knowledge of database administration in a conventional (non-DevOps) DB2 for z/OS environment. No previous DevOps experience is required
